Chain selling

The law defines 'chain selling' as any act which consists in setting up a sales network, whether professional or not, where everyone involved is aiming for an advantage resulting more from the expansion of the network than from the sale of goods or services to the consumer.

Traders, manufacturers and craftsmen are prohibited from offering to sell or to sell a good or service by resorting to a chain selling practice or any other commercial technique similar in nature.

The act of knowingly participating in these sales practices is also prohibited.
