With the kind support of the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade, the Luxembourg for Business website has been extended to include a new dedicated section “for investors” incorporating the following:

• extended “soft" arguments on Luxembourg such as living and working in Luxembourg, Luxembourg´s workforce, and its stable business climate;

• a section on international benchmarks presenting Luxembourg´s rankings in various renowned international surveys;

• a “starting your business section” (developed and offered to LfB by the “Business Portal” - www.entreprises.lu), providing information on the steps necessary to incorporate a company, to get a business licence, registration with social security and Luxembourg´s tax authorities.
  This section furthermore includes practical support and direct links to the relevant ministerial departments;

• a section on the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade´s investor settlement support services;

• a "news review" section, provided thanks to the kind support of Luxembourg´s monthly business magazine “BUSINESS REVIEW”;

• a business-to-business corner where investors can look for, and contact Luxembourg-based companies in view of future business opportunities;

• a dedicated download centre presenting LfB partners’publications for download. (an online ordering form allowing to order hard copies of any of the brochures will be available soon).

This new “for investors” section is now directly available under www.investinluxembourg.lu as well as under www.luxembourgforbusiness.lu.

Besides the additional information provided “for investors”, several new features have been included into the existing “for exporters”  section.

Amongst others there are:

• 5 new market entry guides (compiled by the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade) on Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and Turkey.
  Please note that two additional guides on Singapore and Saudi Arabia are to follow and will complete this section soon;
• an “export calendar” feature allowing you to download all our trade missions and trade fairs as a .PDF document, allowing you to send at anytime an up-to-date trade mission and fairs calendar to your colleagues or business partners;
• a dedicated “send to a friend” feature allowing to forward information on trade missions, trade fairs and export related events to your contacts;
• a fine-tuned “widget” which alerts you about updates that have been made to the website or about any other information you want to see on a regular basis;
• a media corner showcasing Luxembourg´s new promotional films and hosting the different LfB print campaigns for download as well as the newly-published Activity Report 2008/2009.

More features are in the pipeline for the upcoming months. Amongst others you will find an interactive blog, quick and user-friendly online surveys, and many more.
