Social security enables salaried and self-employed workers to benefit from insurance coverage in the event of:

  • sickness;
  • work-related accidents or illnesses;
  • maternity;
  • retirement;
  • disability;
  • dependency.

In order to ensure good social security cover, employers and self-employed workers are subject to declaration obligations and administrative formalities with the social security institutions.
