Depending on the sector in question, the application for accreditation is processed by one of the following administrations:

• in the sector of energy audits and inspections, safety inspections of installations and buildings, or safety in the civil service:
  • Ministry of the Economy (ministère de l’Économie - MECO);
  • Ministry of Labour (ministère du Travail - MT); or
  • Ministry of the Civil Service (ministère de la Fonction publique - MFP);
• in the sector of the natural environment, strategic environmental assessment (EES) and environmental impact assessment (EIA):
  • the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity (ministère de l’Environnement, du Climat et de la Biodiversité - MECB);
  • the Water Management Agency (Administration de la gestion de l’eau - AGE); or
  • the Nature and Forest Agency (Administration de la nature et des forêts - ANF);
• in the sector of the human environment:
  • the Environment Agency (Administration de l’environnement - AEV).
