Finance & State aid
Financial aid for continuing training for businesses
16-02-2012

Businesses established in Luxembourg may benefit from public financial support with regard to their investments in continuing vocational training. This aid represents 10 % of their net annual investment in training.

Businesses are reminded that the aid is subject, among others, to the timely submission of applications to the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training.

Applications for approval must be submitted to the department of vocational training (Service de la formation professionnelle) 3 months after the beginning of the financial year at the latest. For businesses whose financial year coincides with the calendar year, applications must be mailed by 31 March 2012 at the latest. Failure to observe this deadline results in a reduction of the period of eligibility for training plans.

The final report and annual balance must be sent to the Ministry 5 months after the financial year end at the latest.

The national institute for the development of continuous vocational training (INFPC) can provide further information to all businesses: National Institute for the Development of Continuous Vocational Training, Service législation, Phone: 46 96 12 214/204; e-mail : claude.betzen@infpc.lu or marcel.dostert@infpc.lu.

Application forms are available on the website of lifelong-learning.

(Released by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training on 15 February 2012).
