Public transport
The public transport services include all operators in charge of operating the modes of public transport in the country (bus/train). Luxembourg has 4 public transport networks: 2 regional and national networks (CFL and RGTR) and 2 urban networks (AVL and TICE). They are all in the same fare association. The advantage to this is that the same ticket is valid across all systems and travellers may change systems during their trip.
Additionally, commune authorities are helping to improve public transport through various local initiatives: Citybus, bus on-demand, shuttles, etc.
